NON-TOXIC ACID-FREE GLYOXAL FIXATIVE FOR VETERINARY HISTOPATHOLOGY, IMMUNOHISTOCHEMISTRY AND MOLECULAR ANALYSIS
Researchers conducted a comprehensive evaluation of the morphological, histochemical, immunohistochemical (IHC) and molecular analysis outcomes of Glyoxal acid-free (GAF®, a newly patented and non-carcinogenic fixative based on innovative glyoxal solution) in comparison to neutral buffered formaldehyde (NBF).
The study showed that GAF® yields accurate outcomes in macroscopic, histological, and immunohistochemical analyses of tissue samples. Additionally, the results of the study demonstrate superior performance of GAF® in molecular analyses when compared to NBF.
